
After successfully passing the training program, the trainee should:
- be aware of inspection requirements during various stages of the tank service life;
- learn about the principles, output and limitations of inspection methods and techniques;
- understand the relationship between the main damage mechanisms and different tank component;
- be able to correctly identify hazards and assess associated risks;
- be aware of atmospheric testing;
- be aware of rescue equipment & procedures;
Entry Standards for admission to the training course are:
- Certificate of Competency, Education Certificate, or Certificate of Proficiency (according to the requirement of the specific fields as defined by the international or national regulations);
- Seamen’s book, Civil passport, or ID.
