Tank Inspection

After successfully passing the training program, the trainee should:

• be aware of inspection requirements during various stages of the tank service life;
• learn about the principles, output and limitations of inspection methods and techniques;
• understand the relationship between the main damage mechanisms and different tank component;
• be able to correctly identify hazards and assess associated risks;
• be aware of atmospheric testing;
• be aware of rescue equipment & procedures;

Entry Standards for admission to the training course are:

• Certificate of Competency, Education Certificate, or Certificate of Proficiency (according to the requirement of the specific fields as defined by the international or national regulations);
• Seamen’s book, Civil passport, or ID.
