At the completion of the course, students should be able to accumulate following Knowledge:
- use English in written and oral form in general maritime communication
- ask for and give personal data
- describe crew roles and routines including berthing & unberthing; anchoring; maintenance and repair work
- name types of vessel, cabins and accommodation
- identify the location and purpose of safety equipment
- discuss aspects of safety and risk in the workplace; give warnings and advice concerning safe working practice on board; types of drills; take actions to avoid potential risks at work; talk about survival procedures at sea
In order to enter into the presented training program, trainee must represent:
- Seamen’s book or Civil passport or ID;
- Medical Certificate or medical certificate form 100 (for coastal water area seafarers).
