At the completion of the course, students should be able to accumulate following Knowledge:

 Know the construction and equipment of Chemical tankers;

  • Be aware of cargo stowage plan on board, safe loading and unloading of cargo;
  • Identify and perform actions to prepare the relevant compartments for loading cargo;
  • Be aware of the prevention of marine pollution;
  • Act in accordance with MARPOL Convention regulations;
  • Be able to maintain the stability and navigability of the ship;
  • Be aware of monitoring of pump and piping systems;
  • Have knowledge of the operation of ballast and cargo systems;
  • Manage to discharge the segregated ballast;
  • Be aware of a description of the data displayed;
  • Know how to act in case of an emergency;
  • Be aware of the international Maritime Organizations Conventions particularly developed for this specific subject.

In order to enter into the presented training program, trainee must represent:

  • Certificate of Competency, Education Certificate or Certificate of Proficiency;
  • Seamen’s book or Civil passport or ID;
  • Medical Certificate or medical certificate form 100 (for coastal water area seafarers’).
