At the completion of the course, students should be able to accumulate following Knowledge:
- Know the construction and equipment of Chemical tankers;
- Be aware of cargo stowage plan on board, safe loading and unloading of cargo;
- Identify and perform actions to prepare the relevant compartments for loading cargo;
- Be aware of the prevention of marine pollution;
- Act in accordance with MARPOL Convention regulations;
- Be able to maintain the stability and navigability of the ship;
- Be aware of monitoring of pump and piping systems;
- Have knowledge of the operation of ballast and cargo systems;
- Manage to discharge the segregated ballast;
- Be aware of a description of the data displayed;
- Know how to act in case of an emergency;
- Be aware of the international Maritime Organizations Conventions particularly developed for this specific subject.
In order to enter into the presented training program, trainee must represent:
- Certificate of Competency, Education Certificate or Certificate of Proficiency;
- Seamen’s book or Civil passport or ID;
- Medical Certificate or medical certificate form 100 (for coastal water area seafarers’).
