Cross-Cultural Interpersonal Skills

At the completion of the course, students should be able to accumulate following Knowledge:

• be aware of cultural diversity;
• know different religious /cultural beliefs and norms of different seafaring nationalities;
• be able to use the ways to minimize culture clashes on board.

In order to enter into the presented training program, trainee must represent:

• Certificate of Competency, Education Certificate or Certificate of Proficiency;
• Seamen’s book or Civil passport or ID;
• Medical Certificate or medical certificate form 100 (for coastal water area seafarers’).
