Successfully passing training program trainee should:
- Be aware of Types and General Specification of Asphalt/Bitumen Cargo;
- Know the Safety Precautions During Cargo Handling;
- Knows and is able to use Cargo Heating System;
- Knows the specifics of cargo pumps;
- Have knowledge of Ballasting and Deballasting operations on a vessel;
- Knows the aspects of the Dangerous of Water contact with hot cargos;
- Be able to manage Inspection of Insulation space between COT and BWT;
- Knows the aspects of Insulation Space Vent-heads;
- Is able to handle the cases when steam or water outlet observed from Insulation Vent-heads;
- Knows the basics of Tank Load Limits as per Cargo Weight;
- Knows the specifics of Stability Control During Cargo Operations;
- Knows how to control H2S Content;
- Knows Temperature Expansion Factors during Cargo Calculation.
In order to enter into the presented training program, trainee must represent:
- Certificate of Competency, Education Certificate or Certificate of Proficiency;
- Seamen’s book or Civil passport or ID;
- Medical Certificate or medical certificate form 100 (for coastal water area seafarers’).
