Successfully passing training program trainee should:
- Be responsible for the food handling;
- Know the food service facilities;
- Know and is able to classify food into Non-refrigerated and refrigerated items;
- Know the equipment, illuminations requirement in the galley (ship’s kitchen);
- Have knowledge about washing facilities;
- Know the aspects of liquid transport and potable water;
- Be able to manage the disposal of liquid and solid wastes;
- Know the aspects of Sanitary inspection of vessels premises, especially the galley.
In order to enter into the presented training program, trainee must represent:
- Certificate of Competency, Education Certificate or Certificate of Proficiency;
- Seamen’s book or Civil passport or ID;
Medical Certificate form #100 (for coastal water area seafarers’).
