Training Program covers the requirements of the STCW Convention.

Passing training program, trainee must:

  • Have knowledge of the contents of the first aid kit;
  • Know the structure and functions of the human body;
  • Be aware of the dangers of toxicity on board, including how to use the first aid manual for accidents involving hazardous substances (The Medical First Aid Guide for Use in Accidents Involving Dangerous Goods (MFAG)).
  • Be able to investigate a victim;
  • Be able to provide medical care to a rescued person;
  • Be able to provide first aid in the event of fractures, dislocations and muscle injuries;
  • Be able to provide first aid for burns, scalds, life-threatening heat and cold exposure;
  • Be able to provide first medical help in cases of spinal injury;
  • Be able to sterilize medical instruments;
  • Be able to handle cardiac arrest, drowning and asphyxiation.

In order to enter into the presented training program, trainee must represent:

  • Certificate of Competency, Education Certificate or Certificate of Proficiency;
  • Seamen’s book or Civil passport or ID;
  • Medical Certificate or medical certificate form 100(for coastal water area seafarers’);
  • Confirming Certificate of BST.
