After successfully passing the training program, the trainee should:
- be aware of the background and need for behavioural competency assessment;
- have familiarisation with the behavioural competency assessment and criteria;
- have knowledge of conducting an effective assessment;
- be aware of self-reflection and verification of individual skills as an assessor;
- develop tools required to carry out an effective behavioural assessment on board.
Entry Standards for admission to the training course are:
- Certificate of Competency, Education Certificate, or Certificate of Proficiency (according to the requirement of the specific fields as defined by the international or national regulations);
- Seamen’s book, Civil passport, or ID.
